Finally!!! Light bolt-on LT1 hits 12.96! Man I've been waiting for this for awhile!!!! My goal of getting a light bolt-on LT1 in the 12s has happened. These runs were at sea level in cool air. I drove it like I stole it and took it to it's limits. Although with a 12 bolt and some good gears I think I could take her to 12.7s.
The mods:
- Pacesetter LTs
- Pacesetter 3" ORY with a 3" dump
- $40 E-bay CAI
- LCAs
- M/T ET Streets
- Short shifter
- TB Bypass
- No backseats, no jack/spare
This was in my otherwise stock '97 Z28 T-top M6 car, stock 3.42 posi.
The slip:
60': 1.897
330': 5.537
1/8: 8.423@85.422
1000': 10.821
1/4: 12.963@105.62
Backed up by 13.02, 13.08 and 13.1.
Now where's my 12 sec club user title

Thanks for the compliments guys!! You won't believe how much **** I've endured because of my "slow LT1." Everytime I said she had the potential to run 12s with just a few bolt-ons everyone laughed.. now lets see who's laughing!

congrats im very jealous, i almost have the same mods on my LT1(Pacesetter LTs/ORY, SLP catback, Moroso C.A.I., B&M Shifter, LCA's)and im having trouble breaking 13's, but i have yet to have a decent 60'.
