need help with air lid on my 01 ws6

Default need help with air lid on my 01 ws6

okay guys, i want to purchase an air lid for my ws6 and i am not getting a solid answer on which lid to buy - i like the texas speed but i couldn't even find them on their website...maybe they sold out??? i also heard each lid fits different regardless the brand - can some help me out? thanks, mar

This is not the right forum for this question. You should be in the external engine forum. Being FI, none of these guys have intake lids

FWIW the tsp lid works fine. They're all pretty much the same design.

I have a slp lid and i lips over a little in the front but not bad.

the SLP lid is probably the best quality lid on the market. it's very thick, has flex and will resist cracking. whisper and MTI lids are known to crack.

i have an slp lid i'm looking to get rid of because i went with the 90/90 setup and found a tsp 85mm one. pm if you're interested.

Do a title search in this section for "lids" or something to that nature. You will find plenty of information. The SLP lid is by far the favorite according to a recent poll.

Another vote for the MTI clear lid! GO to MTI's web site and check out there lid comparison. They made more power and better et's with there lid then any of the others and they used the same car for all the tests.
