Default living in tacoma?

i got a job offer in tacoma, and i was wondering what the cost of living there would be. i know its higher than houston. like average apartment rates, gas, restaurants, ect. any help will be appreciated.

If you got a Modded out car that may not pass emissions dont live in Tacoma. Live south of there. Thurston County currently has no emissions & you are only a few miles from Tacoma

nothing, but the job is at a hydraulics company between tacoma and gig harbor. thats a bit of a drive from portland everyday, lol

As long as you've got the proper programming, you're good to go for emissions. It's an OBDII scan, no sniffer, no visual inspection.

obd is what we have. i can pass all that, but i have no cats, egr, air, ect...

depends on how much you willing to pay & what type of place you looking for town houses can be 800.
Apartments could be 500+

You won't find a huge difference in apt prices from what you are paying now in Houston - its the taxes on everything that will kill ya.
That was one thing my friend told me who just moved back, gasoline is cheaper there because there isn't thirtythreefuckingcents per gallon of tax

tacoma side. he's acutually been working on the jack up system they're using to set the beams in place on the narrows. that how i got hooked up with him
