Default Where Does The Bump Stop Install?!?

Hey, just got my Mufflex bump stop, but i can't tell where the heat shield is from the little graphic included with the instructions.

I have a custom y from them, so I don't know if i still have a heat shield ...

Anyone have a pic of where this thing goes?

Thanks.

It goes near the underside of the driver's seat.

It doesn't matter which side of the pipe it's on, as long as it's the driver side. I would pull the pipe down as I was installing it to kinda preload the rubber part and get it as tight as possible.

Are you getting banging?

Oh yeah it bangs under heavy load (ie geting on it in 1st gear).

I managed to get it on there before, but my Y is set up differently. My drivers side cat doesn't go parallel to the door, it goes perpendicular (mounted facing the doors basically), so i don't know if the bumpstop should go in the 'stock' location?

I don't think I can load it anymore than it is but it's still noisy under heavy engine load ...

Cut some pieces of a rubber hose(radiator hose) and place in between y-pipe and the car. That might help.
