Have you looked into the RAM twin disc?
P/N 902100
I just got mine and will be installing it in the next week or so. Seems like it will be a wicked clutch for a head/cam/nitrous setup.
Price is about the same if not a little bit cheaper. The flywheel is also a lighter weight aluminum one.

Agreed . I would be more than Happy with 20K out of a clutch the way I beat on mine.

if you let the car sit for a couple weeks, then goto drive it, the clutch rusts together and sticks to itself.. you have to pull the whole thing apart to unstick it.

That is just regular service for a high performance clutch. You would get real good at dropping the tranny and re-aligning the tranny in the pilot bearing(God knows it took me long enough).

Any clutch can do that.
If it is just rusted you can get them unstuck w/out disassembly the majority of the time. Unless it has been years.

what im saying is that the twin disc has a tendency to do that more easily then most other clutches.

My car has sat for almost two months, and the clutch has not rusted together. It was in a garage. So far I have had no issue with my Street Twin.

So they hold up well when abused by 6k clutch dumps on slicks, nitrous passes etc.

Huh? My car sits for a long time and that has never happened. Where do you live? In a rain forest? I would invest in a de-humidifier for your garage.
