How long did u go?factory plug/wire change I was wondering how long you went before you had to change your factory plugs and wires. My 2000 just hit 99,000 and I think it is time to change them.

so mine lasted pretty long I guessed well I hope they last that long again i am going to be putting on some msd wires and some bosch platiums

I don't know much of the history of my car up to when I got mine. They aways took it to the stealership for service though. Theirs a small chance that they are originals at 128,000. 
I'm prett sure the fuel filter is original too. I'm changing that asap. I'm betting my stock cats are fried, but those are outta there when I have time to install my XS headers and SLP ORY. I'm doing new plugs and wires at the same time after seafoaming.

I just changed my plugs after 120 K, not sure if they were the originals, and was goin to put some autolite wires in the car but tested them and then OEM ones were actually flowing better then the brand new ones, so I used the OEM wires

i literally just finish installing mine. 44k miles. Plugs and wires.
Car runs a bit smoother. I went with TR55, and MSD Super conductors. I broke 3 wires getting them off, all in all if I had to do it again I would have paid someone to do it.
Took me 5-6 hours.

I hate to tell you this, the LS1/2/6 cars do not come with AC Delcos plugs from the factory, the use Nipendenso from the factory in those motors.
I went to 73,000 miles and left the stock wires in, but the motor was replaced at the 33,000 mile mark and got new plugs when that was done.

I bought my car in August of 03' with 24K miles, it had detonation. At first I thought I got a bad tank of gas. At 26K miles I yanked the factory plugs and found 3 of them missing the platnum discs. The gaps were all over the place too, one was almost .080"!!! 
I put MSD wires on the car when I did my LT's... around 48K miles I'd say. As far as I know, my factory wires are still good. I replaced my MSD's around 62K miles and went with GMPP wires, the fit is improved and they lock onto the coil packs a lot better.

I changed mine at 67,000 then again at 71,000 when I put the turbo kit on, I have TR6's in there now and MSD wires. I even used the fancy numbers that came with the kit so I dont mix the wires up

My buddy replaced his at 66k but it was a necessity after his LT's, full exhaust, egr and air delete and driving it a lil before tuning. Plugs were all fouled up. What sucks is the guy tuned it anyways even though it was backfiring but said it was prolly cause it needed tuned and when my friend only made 310 he acted all dumbfounded then tried to blame it on his intake "oh, it's a 2000? oh, well it's cause it's not the LS6 intake". After we finally replaced the plugs and wires it quit and is definately making more power but what sucks is it's not running like we know it could. i replaced mine at 126k miles and the one of the factory wires came apart in my hand...plugs were gapped an average of .075-.080 all around, ngk tr55s and new regular wires made a world of difference

I think only some 01's came with ngk's from the factory (my friend's 01 ws6 had them stock). My 02 Z28 definitely came with AC Delco's stock, because I did the first change.
