Window taking off the tint >:(
So I roll up my window after a day at the beach and what do I see. A whole that the tint has been taken off from the window. There is also one long scratch that is about to get even worse if I do it again.
This means the felt piece or whatever it is inside the door panel is worn out and scratching my window?
Anyone have a writeup or a howto to take off the panel and fix this?

Yeah it sounds like the felt pad either is worn out, or the pad actually loosend up and moved.
The door panel will have to come off, the ledge the felt pads are on have screw in them that have to come out. Each pad will have its own screw. I beleive you can take out the whole piece but am not 100% on it.
It should be a easy fix.

they'll know what you're talking about. tell them it's the felt piece that helps hold the window in place.
if you have small fingers, you can do it without taking the door panel off, (i had to take door panel off), but it's really easy to fix. 1 nut to take loose, take old one out, put new one it, put nut back on.
