Default tranny cooler fan - on all the time

going to be installing my transcooller soon, i have a fan for it but dont have a thermostat to turn it on as im cheap.
is it ok to run the fan all the time cooling the transfluid more when it might not need it?
any problems with the trans temp getting to cool?

Why not just wire a little $2 switch to turn it on and off?
I don't think the trans fluid will have any problem getting warm even with that little fan running all the time.

If it's a little muffin fan then a thermostat from Digi-Key
like P/N 317-1019-ND would set you back a whole $8.12;
if it's more than an amp draw you'd need a relay too.

If fluid is -too- cool then you might not see lockup.

I believe minimum lock up temp is pretty low though, around 80F isn't it? If you're little fan keeps your fluid from reaching lockup temp, post the part number please!
