These machines are fast as hell. I would like to see one go head to head with a stock c6 z06.

they have a 5.0 V10 that makes 507 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 in 4.6 seconds and 0-124 in 14 seconds

any idea what it weights, I assume it is well over 4000 pounds, considering it is rated right with the Z06 with HP, and well below on TQ, and probraly weights over 1000 pounds more I am gonna go out on a limb and say a C6 Z06 would absolutly destroy that car.

I thought the 966 and the vette were pretty close in 1/4 and trap speed. But the M6 totally destroyed it. Torque wont matter, especially if they do it from a roll.

Yes it does ^^^, and no, the M6 is not a 11 second car at all. You might some see one sneak in, but its doubtful. They are a bit hefty. But they are pretty damn awesome.

Damn its not that much heavier than an ls1. Plus with an 8250 rpm redline, I would assume it would be a petty much even race with a c6 z06.

Ive seen mid 12s mostly for the new V10ed Bimmers. Very cool, but when it takes 14 seconds to get to 124 your not going to run low 11s.

I would love to see that motor mid mounted in a Zonda.

The m5 and m6 are rated at 500hp, but the m6 pulled it.

I dont beleive the loss of torque against the Z06 would matter. Hell it makes more torque than an ls1.

Lets see. Ford GT makes more torque than the Z06, but still gets walked. The vipers makes more torque, but still gets walked. If your going from a dead stop, torque would only apply to the 1st gear that your in. After that, you would be shifting at a point were you are past peak torque.

Chris, use your head here bro. You got two cars that both dyno about the same, the C6 Z06 would have about 100 more RWTQ and weight over ONE THOUSAND POUNDS less. What makes you think it would even be close? I know you like to start **** over here but this one is just stupid. I guess your saying the M6 is as fast as the Ford GT too huh.

I doubt it takes 14 sec. to get to 124, since I assume that is about where it traps at.

Ok it weights 3800 pounds, so assume 4000 even with a driver. So the Z06 has roughly a roughly 700-800 pound weight advantage and about 100ftlbs. The M6 would be a good run for a 450rwhp 03/04 cobra, lol.

ITs not over a 1000 lb's, more like 4-500 lbs(click the link above 3769). Show me where torque has become a factor in a race, just one. Do you think your car would be faster with 800hp and 600ftlb of torque or 600hp and 800ftlb of torque.

You didnt install your nitrous setup to make more torque, you did it for the hp. Im pretty sure there isnt a 100ftlb jet.

I really hope your joking about the TQ thing, not even worth getting into. The Z06 is faster by far, it is way lighter, has just as much power, more torque, way more aeodymanic, it's not even worth discussing bro. Like i said, I know you wanna come heer and be mr. **** talker, but this one is a lost cause, just stupid.

Bmw weighed 3650

Your math skills are lacking here! Z06 with driver(est. 3300 lbs), M6 with driver(3800lbs) 500 or so difference.

The m6 would trounce a cobra, just like it did the porshe and 550hp mercedes.
