Has anyone had their car dyno'ed at MTI AND HPE??
I am curious to know if these two dyno's give different numbers?? Myself and a good friend of mine both have had our cars dyno tuned at MTI. Speaking with other people who have had their cars dyno tuned at HPE seem to have higher numbers or similar numbers with less performance parts. I may just be out of my mind but still..............very curious.
Thanks,
J.R.

I dynoed my previous '02 SS convertible at both locations, with the same mods. Heads, cam, longtubes with cats, airbox
MTI: 428 rwhp sae
HPE: 419 rwhp sae
did two pulls on each, they were both consistent.
But, dyno racing sucks and is for posers. Before/After results are the only thing that matters!

Dynojet. Also the Mustang Dyno at HPE was calibrated to read damn near CLOSE to the Dynojet. HPE has a great dynoing setup at their shop.

I was just curious. I do agree dyno numbers don't mean **** but I have been tracking my progressive after 2 head can cam swaps, 2 header swaps, and other mods. I want to make sure my car is set up perfect so...........it really doesn't matter as long as I am using the same dyno.
Anywho.......don't let your meat loaf!!

Yes I am thank you! I need to order some more sweaters and sweatshirts as the weather will soon be turning a little cooler. I spilled some nacho cheese on a pair of my favorite corvette shorts ....I hope they aren't ruined.
See you at the meet Strini.

But who cares about dyno numbers, just take the **** to the track and run the car.
yeah dont be a dyno queen, hit the track

Even the same dyno will not give you the same numbers. All the conditions need to be the same. Ambient air temp, humidity, engine temp., tranny and rearend temp. Air in tires. The more the enviroment the same the closer the numbers.... but those other guys are right. It is not the number on the dyno that counts... it's the number at the track that does..
