max rwhp for 4l60
What's the most rwhp that you can run on a stock A4 with an external cooler? I'm trying to figure out how long my tranny (45K miles) is gonna last after the heads and cam are installed. Thanks

No one can answer that. It will do one of two things, it will either take a **** on you within a couple of thousand miles or it will last for a long time. It all depends on your luck and how the car is driven. Just my $0.02

I understand I may have enough power to kill the tranny, but I definatley don't plan on beating the **** out of it on a daily basis. Once or twice a year to the track and cruising on the weekends.
Anyone else?

I've got over 108K miles on my original 4L60.... and I'm putting down 400rwhp and 465rwtq. I play with it sometimes, but I don't race it. Finally after my last tune it's now starting to screw with me (slips, taps the rev limiter, won't shift...) so I'm pretty sure it's about to come apart.
