Default th350 swap

ok did a search could not find anything (im not good with the search)i have a 4l60e and i am putting a th350 in it .the ? is what do i need i have a short and a long shaft th350 with the long shaft can i use the same drive shaft?for the torque bar do i change the tail from a 700r4 from a 80s camaro or what and what fly wheel will work with the convertor a 98LS1??please help wanting to get this done soon

does anyone have any pics of what there shifter looks like after there swap.im looking for what looks best besides the stock one

Long tail will get you close on the proper length for the ds, short tail you'll need to get one made. Easiest way for the ta is a spohn or similar made crossmember with ta as a kit. Or a seperate mounted ta. You can fab up something if you have the equipment and knowledge.

Heres a b&m carbon fiber pro-ratchet in a stock a4 console. Fits great!

So can a person still use the converter from their 4L60E in their Turbo 350?
My Camaro is an 02, does that matter?

nope, you will need a new converter. You can buy a TH350 converter for an LS1.

Is one any better than the other?

Can you get a lockup for both?

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread Agt.Orange....but....

Hey gd1996 does the TH400 bolt up to the LT1 without any kind of adpater plate. What, if anything, is necessary to get the converter to bolt up to the flex plate. Are they the same size.

street and performance sells flexplate to mount th350 on ls1,6.0 ect.
