I have had the same issue with mine. The difference is, Mine grinds in RPM's around 4000 and higher and it does it going from 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd, and a little in 3rd-4th. Myself and others came to the conclusion that it was a clutch issue. I installed a brand new LS6 Clutch kit, replaced the slave and the master.... It still does it. I still haven't fixed it, but rather just live with it.

I have the same problem with 1st-2nd mainly. Almost every time it is during higher rpm operation and grinds about 80% of the time. I had 2 dealerships check it out and they "didn't find a problem". 5th sometimes gives me a problem as well, but nothing compared to the 1st-2nd shift. I would think if the master/slave cylinder needed to be bleed, I would have more problems with 2nd-3rd right!?! BTW I did the clutch slip test on the highway (WOT in 6th) and I didn't have any slipping.
Let me know what you find out.

Mine seems to grind 3rd, but only on upshifts, and never at WOT. I guess this is somewhat uncommon? It's not really a full grinding, but more of a not-so-smooth feeling through the shifter.
