Default TTi log and spark plug wire clearance?

I am trying to get the spark plug wires on my TTi log manifold with no luck. Seems that the log is too high, so the plug wires wont line up with the plugs. I can get them on with the heat shields off, but the boots are bent upwards and they are laying on the log.

Any other TTi guys seen this? Maybe I found yet another problem.

Hmm I have MSD wires so couldn't tell ya...but I know it "shouldn't" be a problem. TTi kit was designed around keeping everything else stock.

Thanks Neal. I think I managed to get around it by slightly bending the heat shields. Not sure why they would not just slide on.

With your wires, do they lay on the log, or are they up off it so there is an air gap?

You want ot have just a little air gap. I have on that is very close, but no problems so far.
