Default Intake manifuld

guys,,,,

i just hooked my slp long tube headers with an off road 3 inch y pipe,and changed the sparks ,and tourq converter.

NO big change on the performance???,and the car is heating soo much? i changed the thermostat to 160,,,same thing

im wondering would the ls6 intake manifuled help?

please advise

you should have definitely felt some improvement in power from the LT's and ORY...

but an LS6 Manifold wouldn't hurt... the more mods you add the more each benefits from the other... a Ported TB couldn't hurt either

what about cooling,my problem is when i race my car or if i go above 120 mph my hear gage goes to the top.

how can i cool the engine,because im almost always on a hight speed

I would improve on your intake setup. How often do you go 120 mph?

more details please,i cant go fast im having a problem with the heat,also im in a country where its really hot,is taking the thermostat off will help?

ever heard of defensive driving?

either ways get your pcm scanned and see if any codes are malfunctioning... and if you want to lower your temps you will need that 160* thermo and a tune to make use of it while setting your fan temps

not 100% sure but if you put a torque converter in it shouldnt you put a trans cooler in too?
