well my buddy just got back from the army and was running around town in his car and all our friends was like you have to race all of them being import ppl in preludes and civics .well i said we can so me and him talked and he said he wanted to go from around a 35 40 kick so he can be in 2nd because his first gear went out .well so we agre and go to the straigh and we get up 3 beeps we nail it i pull abouta half car then he pulls right back beside me dead even till we shut it down aroudn 115.one more time we go again same out come dead even side by side i was kinda dissapointed being i beat a single turbo acura integra gsr the other day by like 4 to 5 cars till i shut it down .he said his only mods were a Ash-Spec ECU with boost jets at 14psi, K@N pop charger, and full exhaust i know that it was kinda dead spot for my car but still is their somthing wrong with my car or what im waiting on him to put his trans in so we can do a good 10 mph kick thats were my car seems to run great at but well see i dont know i guess my car wasnt as good as i thaught it was

i'd say something is wrong. I use to be dead even with intake exaust 300zx's when i had my stock Taurus SHO (rated at 220hp).

Make no mistake some of the early 90s twin turbo 300zx's are straight up fast. I've got a friend with boost control and exhaust dipping into the 12s on the colder days.

Sounds decent to me. His car should be make probably upwards of 340 at the wheels.

your buddy is stage 3. that's about 380-400hp flywheel of course. people don't give these cars enough respect. there might be something wrong with your car though, with your mods i would think you should pull.

to the guy with the tauras sho. you would get walked by a tt 300zx. the only chance you might have is a n/a 300zx. again people keep the mis-information to yourself.

They have 300hp stock, with boost at 14psi and downpipe then somewhere in the 400 at the flywheel hp. Explains alot.

Its easy to get 100 more hp with like 800 bucks with the 300zx. I raced one with similar mods. We were neck to neck from a 50 roll, once I hit 5th he would pull away. But thats not a racing gear for me. From a 55 though, id take him.,
