I don't know what this really has to do with anything... But nice kill.

Anyway, that Supra was not that fast for track Supras. And that launch was weak. Here is a launch from two 170 mph streetable Supras. IRS lifting the tires...

Are you saying the Supra in the vid you posted cut a 1.7? Sure looks like he did better than that. Anyways 1.7 60' for 1000 HP is not impressive at all. I cut 1.7's with my z28 with mild bolt ons all day long. Car also had 2.73 gears.

1000 HP? Where did you get that? If the car isn't a drag car, IRS, and it cut's 1.7's on street legal tires with 700+ hp, that pretty damn good. You guys have to remember these cars are IRS and 6-speeds. The pictures I posted, the two cars cut low 1.3's on street legal tires. One is a 6-speed.

Not bad, but certainly not impressive given the HP advantage. What was the 60ft on the supra? Oh yea, and when do you wanna run the SS in ur 350? Im ready.

Fast car, but not a great launch for the hp. 143mph should be good enough for fairly deep 9's I'm thinking. Saying that a 1.7 60' is good for a 700+ rwhp car because it has IRS is kind of a copout.

You guys have to remember 25PSI isn't a "drag" guy. He doesn't understand that if you put a 'glide in the above mentioned Supra it could go low 9's.

To him a "street" car with 1000hp and 1.6+ 60's are normal/reasonable.

And FWIW, we got "1000hp" from whoever posted the vid on Streetfire, it clearly states "1000hp Supra v.s. 650hp Saleen". I'm not saying that's nessesarilly correct, but that's what it said.

For example, my 98GT with 300rwhp cut 1.70 60ft's ALL day on 275/45/17 nitto drag radials, this was with a 100% stock front and rear suspension, except for a 2" drop, lol. So to do the same in a 1000rwhp car with ET Streets and a CCW drag pack is a complete joke.

The supras best 60ft that day racing the stang was a 1.61 to dean (owner of the stangs) 1.67. The supra is pushing 33 pounds of boost with race gas vs. 15 psi and a 50 shot of nitrous on the stang. If you ask me the supra didnt do as well as i thought it would do considering he is making 800+ rwhp car.

See, I see 800+ whp, 1000 hp, etc. Seems like noone knows. And I would say 1.61 is good for a damn 6-speed. You guys trying to act like it should do better should know... Like dude said above, put a glide in it and low-mid 9's are easily in grasp.

Im going off of what 25psi said which is 1.7 60ft. Maybe he is making **** up, 1.61 is not bad, but given the car and the tires it is on it could be better...
