Yeah get a catted Y. I loved the LM when I first had it but Im now starting to hear the rasp and the overall lack of sound quality. I mean it is probably one of the best WOT sounds, and the idle sounds good too. But it just sounds raspy everywhere else.

I love the loudmouth, I dont think that it is raspy at all. I cant wait to see what it sounds like with longtube headers and a 3 inch y pipe.

Well thats why you dont hear the rasp. With stock Ypipe and manifolds, it is one of the better sounding catbacks. Once those "restrictive" components are opened up, you will hear the rasp everybody is talking about. Thats when it sounds worse is when cats, LT's, and Ypipe are introduced. Its not aweful sounding...its just not the best. I know because I have it.

Yeah I got SLP D/D, so when i put my headers on in a couple weeks, i'll use the cut out, cause i want LOUD. AND It SOUNDS LIKE THe LM Is the way to go for loud with mainfolds and cats, but is there noone that recommends it with LT's and ORY?

Its sounds good and mean but if its a daily driver then it will get on your nerves. Plus it attracks cops like no tomorrow. I had my slp lm with mac mids and ory with the 232/238 cam in my sig and it sounded plain nasty but was just way too loud for any drive over 15 mins as I would get a headache from the drone.

I have LM, LT's and ORY and its not all that loud to me for a DD. The rasp is annoying though. I plan on having a magnaflow bullet welded in eventually.

LM is best bang for you buck if you got stock Y-pipe and all but a soon as you get headers and a off road y-pipe you will need to put a bullit muffler in its place like i did! I used the magnaflow bullit muffler so now i have magnamouth!
