sorry to break it to you, but that is just your brain justifing the money you spent on it. Its kind of hard to feel 5-10 whp in a car that already makes 300whp stock...thats only a 3% increase. Now if you were ina ford focus that makes like 100whp and gained 10 hp...that'd be different cause your gaining 10% of your power. Not to mention your car isn't stock...so your probably making more than 300whp.

lip and filter...can definitely be "felt" over stock on a cold night with a ram air hood...the stock hood on t/a's are pretty much closed off on top so yea (ive tried both thats how i know)...but good to hear that man...now spray or boost it, you'll probably sh*t urself seeing how hard it pulls with 5psi or 150 shot lmao

Glad it worked for you. It didnt for me on my bone stock 98 LS1 TA. Ran two runs with stock lid and then two more with an SLP lid and smooth bellows and lost .01 sec. There was a noticable noise difference. The only thing, that day, that made any improvement was raising the shift points to 6200 rpm's.
