Angry problem help plz

ok i have an 02 ss and it mostly a weekend driver i pulled it out and drove it a few mioles ran awsome like always.... but then when u went to start it again it was a slow crank so i drove half way down the street ant all gauges and stero shut down nothing worked but it was still running not good but it was i got it home and tryed to start it again nothing at all and the battery seems dead now and it was full.... i mouse was in my engine bay not to long ago chew threw a wire to the temp gauge fixed it ran great now this and ideas were to start????

Sounds like your alternator died.

Put a volt meter on the battery it should be around 14v. Autozone etc can loan a tool or u can use the gage on your dash.

I agree with both of em, take your battery and your alternator to checker or autozone, and they can test em both and see what the damage is.

I would bet he's right. this has happened to me on several occasions and different cars. No matter the type of car they act the same when the alt's dying and you have just enough battery charge to get you to the middle of nowhere and it chokes and dies. Just helped a friend change his alt out on a 95 nisson tuner type car. he describes what you did.
BTW, jmm98ls1, I now have all your aound clips on my favorites so when i have a bad day or need morning motivation I can get it.

I'd start with the battery/terminals first. If you have a OEM Delco battery still make sure the pos terminal isn't leaking.

ok thanx alot guys.. one other thing i just checked on the alt there is a small red wire that has been chew threw counld that be it and i can see where to hook it back up at???? u guys are great

ya i did that batt is at 12 v not running but its dead
