27inch tire,411 gear,a4,will this work?
Im converting to an a4 with 4000stall. Will a 27inch tire work for low10s at about 128-130mph. Is there any kind of mods to the rear fender for the 27s?

Not sure how the combo will work on the hose. I ran a 4400 stall w/4.11's and a 27" Hoosier QTP. It was just a H/C car and was good for 11.30's @ 118 Didn't have to cut anything to get the 27's to fit, just message the inner fenders a little. Adj. PHR and LCA's will help tuck 'em in.

I think the 27's will fit without needing any clearancing. As an example I ran 28x9x15 ET Drags on 15x8's back in 2000 and they did not require any bodywork.
But you'll have to see if the rpms get a little high. I'd just spray 150 and see what happens, maybe have the spray shut off at 6600 rpms?

27x11.5 qtp fits without any clearancing at all, I've sen a few people put htem on, myself included without any mod's for clearance at all.
I have a 5000 converter and a th400 with 4.10 gearing, with the 27 inch tire, I think it should be o.k. to about 10.30@130 if I spin the motor to about 7000, anymore then that and I'm gonna need a gear change/tire height increase, at least that's what it figured to when I was doing the calculations.

27x11.5x15 qtp's fit my car just fine. I had to massage the inner fenders slightly but not a whole lot. I usually run mid to low 11's at 125 or so with a stock t-56 and 3.73's. I still have plenty of rpms left though. Soon when I crank up the boost though I am sure I will be pushing around 6600 through the traps.
