Default LED turn signals not working

whats up guys, I just bought some new LED 3157's for my turn signals. I just put these is and they are not working. They don't even light up. I know I need to get a electronic flasher for them to blink, but do I need one for them to light up?

Try connecting them straight to the battery, if they don't work then they're dead.

Are they in the front or back?

You have to change the flashers for that, when you turn the signal on is it just staying lit up and not clicking?

The light does not light up at all. I just put one of the regular amber ones back in and that one works fine. But the other side with the LED is not lit up.

Go get the flashers, they are about $5 from any parts store and very simple to install.

I don't know, I can't remember the part number off my head. The people at the parts store can look it up in their computer though.

damn, I just got back from the store and I only bought one. I thought I only needed one for the blinkers. This is what I read from another post: "There are two flashers in our cars - one for turn signals and one for hazard flashers."

Where does the flasher go? I just removed the knee panel under the steering column and the flasher is supposed to be on the right hand side? I don't see it?

We have those bulbs in red, orange, and white. Shoot me a PM and I can get you a price

The flashers are about $5 each at any local parts store.

two flashers are needed if you would like to work the turn signals along with the hazards. The part number for the flashers is EL12 for the stock ones.
