Default Help Me Pick A Great Clutch

ok, i ahve a 02 TA with 40k on the clock, car came stock with an LS6 clutch..

so help me pick a great clutch.. My car is basiaclly set up for street and will see the track MAYBE 1 or 2 times a year.. My clutch is starting to slip a bit. I want a clutch that will last if it gets beaten on a bit, i want it to be firmer.. meaning i want the pedal to be a little more firm than what the stock one is.
let me see what else, oh yea i want one that will actually last, yea i know performance and last in the same sentence.. i think you get the idea
so what clucth am i looking at? Aslo what is recommend for a new clutch? Master/slave pilot bearing..

also, what is the drill mod that i have been hearing?

the cluthes i have been thinking are:

LS7
Dual Friction Centerforce
Spec
Textrilla

what do you think give me some ideas..

Go with a Textralia. The single disc should do well for you, and BYUNSPEED has a GP on them from now untill the 28th . https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=579893
You could also step up the the killer Eso-Skel clutch; but I think it is over-kill for you. Unless you are like me and trying to build a foundation for big things to come in the future .

I would go with a ram powergrip and a RAM flywheel. You say you want it to last right? Then you need to get all the components from the same manufacturer. If and when it is time for a new clutch again ram will rebuild it for less than half the cost when it was new. I would PM "Stick Only" and see what kind of a deal he can get you.

I would personaly go with the ls7 with those mods. It will still leave you with some room for improvment and I believe that their fiarly reasonably priced, I think? The text will run you quite a pretty penny, but it is a great clutch (know from personal expereince). Good luck

I had a SPEC Stg. 3, hated it with a passion. I now have the LS7, couldn't be happier. Real nice pedal feel, smooth engagement, grabs like a ****.

my textralia clutch is just as driveable as stock and withstands all the nitrous i throw at it and the pedal is just slightly firmer than stock. i say go textralia single disc.

There is only one company who will help you all the way, even if you installed it wrong!

Textralia!
