Default Is runnin spray safe on the LT1

im in the process of finding a LT1 and i wanna run 12's.i noticed alot of people r running nitrous.so my question is how much can that motor handle before blowin up if u run nitrous?

you can usually run a 100 wet shot safe with out major changes, just make sure you're runnin a window switch, WOT switch and some other safety measures, on some of my earlier posts i asked about the same thing in the nitrous forum if you check my older posts

Spray is never safe, IMO. Sure can be fun though

nitrous is safe on a ****** lawnmower if you know what you are doing and use it correctly..

Agree. Just be aware of the increased cylinder pressures with Nitrous. If you have a high-mileage motor with stock rings... it'll find the weak spot quick.

The other problem is on LT1's the back 2 cylinders can go a little lean due to the construction of the LT1 and LT4 intake manifolds. I had some evidence of detonation on my #7 plug after making a couple 100-shot passes the other day.

N2O can be safe. I have ran it for years. stock motor, bolts,H/C and now bored and stroked

Here is the latest run

Number eight definately runs leaner unless you find a way to richen it up

Sprayed the 200 shot off a stand alone a few times just for money races.

150 all day long

we bumped to a 200 shot and sprayed the hell out of it
