Default Vortech & Cammed 02 GT vs 03 Cobra, STS Turbo SRT10 vs 04 Lightning & NX 05 Silverado

jksstar edited this up and I filmed errrr. Mods are in the video.

Cobra missed fourth but was already falling back, he has a bottle too but didnt use it, so they will rematch soon Im sure with it being a bit closer or the Cobra probably pulling out. Good run though.

Lightning and silverado did a lot better than I thought they would. Pretty impressive against a turbo SRT-10.

Was it just me, or was that srt10 not that fast? Maybe it just the video.

The SRT10 really wasnt bad and it was weird hauling *** in a big *** truck like that lol. I have ridden in fast Lightnings but that thing is ALOT bigger than a Lightning.

He weighed it without driver, tailgate or spare and it was 5280 or 5380, add that weight back in and a passanger and it probably weighed 5700-5800 or more! It's non intercooled too.

The ram being a 4 door and a automatic doesn't help much. They are quite abit slower then the reg. cab, 6speed trucks.

Never underestimate a 5.3 Silverado. They react the same way a LS1 does to similar mods. Those quad cab SRT-10 trucks are disappointing for having a Viper engine. What do you expect from a pig truck on heavy 22's?? The regular cab SRT-10 trucks are a different story however.

the 4 door is a slouch it is indeed not comparable to the reg cab srt10
i know from experiance.
with the turbo on the quad cab i could see it just being able to run with a stock reg cab srt 10.

side note Lsx > srt-10

Looked like the Dordge was coming around the Silvy before he hit the brakes. That 25mph 1st gear slam was deadly for a second or two lol.

Turbo spooled really quick!

Nice vids, short and sweet.

He was comin up on em but it was a low roll, ET won out over MPH in this case. I think they had an agreed shut down speed. The STS truck DID want to run em from a stop too but it didnt happen.
