Default American Racing Torq Thrust Type M

American Racing just released this wheel to the public and we are one of the first to have it. The Torq Thrust M comes in either Chrome, Black/Machined Lip, or Anthracid/Machined Lip. Here is the special for you forum members:

Here are the pics of these wheels:

Torq Thrust Type M Pics

4 - 17x9 Anthracid/Machined Lip 709.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm Offset)

4 - 17x9 Black/Machined Lip 719.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm Offset)

4 - 17x9 Chrome 859.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm Offset)

2 - 17x9 and 2 17x10.5 Anthracid/Machined Lip 729.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm and +44mm Offset)

2 - 17x9 and 2 17x10.5 Black/Machined Lip 739.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm and +44mm Offset)

2 - 17x9 and 2 17x10.5 Chrome 869.00 plus shipping.
(+45mm and +44mm Offset)

Wheels include the center cap but not the lugs. If you would like a set of lugs here are your options:

Standard lugs $10.00

Standard Lugs with Locks $15.00

Lifetime Lugs from Gorilla $25.00

Lifetime Lugs with Locks from Gorilla $30.00

Shipping ranges from 50 to 75 depending on your zip code. There is no sales tax on out of state purchases. If you are a Texas resident give us a call and we can make a small adjustment on the price to offset sales tax. If you would like to just purchase the lugs shipping will be 10.00. Once again these wheels have just been released from American Racing to the public, so be one of the first to have these wheels on your car.

Please do not argue the descepencies between the Torq Thrust Type M wheels and Mustang wheels. This is a thread for questions about the wheels to help you decide if you would like to purchase them. Thank you.

I am not sure about the 18" for the F bodies. I know that they make them for the Mustangs, so they might make them for the F bodies somewhere down the road but nothing for sure.

Ok, Tom, I have a stupid question. I see where American Racing is now advertising the TT M's on their site and the colors available are Black, Anthracid and Chrome. Is what you are calling Anthracite in fact the Anthracid? I'm just curious.

Question about the price of the rims. Even though the price went up from the original post is this still a reduced price from what the rims will cost later on. If not I'm just gonna wait till next season since my car goes into storage in a month.

Sorry bout that guys, I was just going off of what one of the American Racing delivery drivers said when they deliverd and I got to take the pics of the first few wheels. It is Anthracid. Maybe I should have read the actual name instead of just going with what they told me. Edited original post. Thanks

This is a special forum price. Hopefully if anything I will not have to change the prices anymore.

Sorry for not getting to your questions. I answered your pm today.

I'll be ordering mine today but now since I want to go up a size in the back I have to get all new tires. I have Kuhmo Ectsas 275/40/17's and the 285's are on backorder. I called TireRack and they said it would be at least 8 weeks to get those in . I'm going to go with the Firehawk Wide Ovals and sell my Kuhmo's.

Tom.....When would you estimate the wheels to get to 20151 if I placed my order today?

Thanks
Michelle

Interested mainly to see these on a red car. Black, or Anthracid...

Does any-one have them yet on a red car?

P.S. Great deal even after the increased price Tom... Look on eBay and they are hundreds more.

Those look great, but I'm still really happy with the TT2s you sold me. These may be my "next" set of wheels.
