thanks, but i got it. i just pulled them to clean them. multiple mis-fires. most of the o rings did stay up in the fuel rails. the last one didnt and i already installed the other ones back in so i just put it all back together. they leaked obviously so i pulled it back apart and that is when #8 wouldnt go back in. if anyone else has this problem, make sure the fuel rail is completely unbolted and all injecters are out of the block.
the cleaning didnt do too much. i might of noticed it in the SOTP meter but it still feels like its missing at idle. glad i didnt let the dealer do it for 160

TS is correct....
The build up is internal, and using carb cleaner in them, can F%$k up the coil wire insulation..
A cleaner such as that, can disolve the crap in the filter basket, and wash it on into the inj body.
CORRECT method is to strip the wear items,[filter baskets, o'rings, pintle caps, etc] check for shorts/open coils, ultrasonic clean them, replace the wear items, and test for pattern and flow volume, leaks. I've done several thousand in the past 9 yrs, and have seen about all the problems known to show up. Some are REALLY weird.

nah i cant pin point it being the injectors anyway. just trying cheap fixes my self. they looked pretty clean/new anyway. car already has new plugs/wires. next is prolly either fuel filter or seafoam, then maybe coilpacks. 80k miles 01.
