Default cam too big?

Hey guys ive searched at couldn't find anything on this fms cam that i wanted to buy from a member here. my question for you guys is would this be too big of a cam for a daily driver 04 M6?
236"/239" .600"/.611" 111LSA

it is a custom grind cam with patriot gold package and pushrods. so i was wondering if this would be too large. my mods are RWTD tune, SW LT, K&n intake SW cambered exhaust and TR P&P TB. everything else is stock heads and gears..

thanks for the help

There are a WHOLE LOT of differences of opinion on "streetable".

on stock heads your PTV clearance will be fine with that cam, but you will need to get new pushrods/springs at least as with any other cam swap.

As for being to big many would probably say yes, but there are many with bigger cams in DD's. It has a lot to do with the tunner you have tune the car.

In my opinion, yes that cam it "streetable"

I agree with impulse...I'm running a 244/250 630 630 114+2 and it's very streetable....lopes harder than a 114....my tuner did a great job....idles all day @ 900 and @ 1000 with air on....

my vote is for yes it's streetable, my cam is plenty larger then that, like others said, it's all in your tuner....mine does a great job, and makes any driveablility issues on my car feel as good, or better then stock.....

my car isn't dailey driven anymore, but for 2 years it was....and i made it around just fine with 420hp at the wheels and a big nasty lope'n cam

Might want to look into gears if you get that cam. That would make it much more pleasurable on the street.

That might be a Cam Motion grind. You could call them & see if they can shed any light. Did it come from Futral?

I think that cam is very streetable. However, you may want to get a stall and gears with it. The loss in low end torque isn't THAT big of a deal for us F-body guys ,but you may notice it more than we do with the heavy goat.
