Default Driving Schools?

I am thinking of switching my car over from A4 to M6. The thing is however, i cant drive a stick worth a dam, let alone race one. However i really want to learn how to race one and race it well. Just curious if anyone knows of any good driving schools around my area or anywhere... im in SE MI. Just looking for a school that will give me some driving experience and teacher to really get me to rip the gears and learn how to race.... Any? Thanks! Is there any type of program like this even?

Practice is the best teacher I'd just get a friend who can rip gears and a rental car and go from there Good luck!

haha yea, i think forget the school, just practice and drive with afriend. I dont jsut want to get a stall cuz IMO the m6 is more fun on the street and throwing a stall in my tranny will be bad news for it with the power coming, she wont last long. Thanks!

well heres just a little info for you, sence your new to the m6.
Granny shifting, is were you let off the gas when you shift, which is good for you stock tranny an you have no power, lol.
Speed shifting is were you keep your foot on the gas when you put the clutch down, experiance drivers well no how to do this, it takes practise though, plus you well need a dam good tranny to take that kind of abuse.
sliping the clutch, is where you fether it from first to second to get traction, you dont want to jam those two gears together, thats what brakes trannys an rearends.
well good luck an hope this helps alittle

Learn to drive like grandma first, then as you get used to it, you can start being more aggressive.

I think the rental powers have wised up to this path. You will look a long time to find a manual rental car. You may have better luck with a truck.
