I bought the stage 1 LS6 from TSP. It gained about 38 RWHP running with their Torquer V2. Hell yes you can feel the diffference.

So you gained 38rwhp OVER the baseline with the Torquer v2 or is that 38hp with the heads and cam?? I have the exact same setup sitting in my garage and if I only gain 38rwhp with a head/cam swap I am gonna be pissed! lol

We generally see 35-45rwhp gain with the stage 1 heads. The heads work great for using the stock valves!! I have a graph somewhere that I will try and post up that was just a head swap and nothing else. If I find it I will post it up!

Those are off the shelf stage 1's, .040 gasket for a bump in compression, run with an old 228/230 cam

I was running the TV2 with stock 98 heads and I was putting down 350RWHP on the dyno tuned. Now this might seem to low for some people but this was thru a Supermaxx catted y system,Hooker catback, Vig 3400 stall, and 3:73 thick gears with the convertor unlocked. Now with the Stage 1 LS6 TSP heads installed on .051 cometics (not .040) I put down 388RWHP on the first pull just to set the A/F. I was told to bring it back after 1500 miles and they would put it back on the dyno and were sure we could hit over 400 RWHP with this combo. So lets see 388-350=about 38RWHP gained just with the heads. The car was running 12.48's with the 98 heads and if it wasn't raining out Freaky Friday at the local track I could tell you tomorrow how much a difference they make

98 A4 cars have a tendency to dyno alot lower for some reason. I'm glad you did a run with the cam and a run with heads/cam, that way you could see what your gains were! Awesome news, 38rwhp from heads is great!!

I'm in need of them bad. Running a TSP 383 with TSP Giant cam and.....stock 853 heads. Ran out of money.

I think 40-45HP is possible. So far these heads are looking good. Great results for the $$.

we've got some stage 1's built and ready to go, as well as some terminators.... our stage 2.5 heads are backordered about 3 days.
