Forged 382, V7 YSi, 8.7:1 CR, 224/230 on 115 LSA cam, Edelbrock 215cc heads with a T56
A reasonably mild build IMO. Idles good, drives brilliantly.

I made 735rwhp and 666rwtq on pump fuel only. Day before that I ran 11.05 @ 138mph but that was with a leaking BOV. Only discovered that at the dyno.
We only revved it to 6000rpm on the Dyno, as power appeared to be peaking there which was a little odd. I was only there out of curiosity anyway, wasnt fussed about revving the nuts off it.
Had to back off the timing though to get a smooth run. The Dynapack was having strange problems if I increased the timing. So no doubt it would have made more power.

A few weeks later, with some meth injection and at a different track, I ran 10.54 @ 145mph. No other changes to the car aside from meth +tuning.

Being manual, and with crappy tyres, 60fts are still poor.

Hopefully I'll get out again next weekend ( 14/15 ) if the weather stays dry.
I now have some MT DR's, and will be running with a Victor Jnr intake manifold setup..
I had hoped to have a taller diff as 145mph is me at 7000rpm with the old Nittos, but relying on suppliers from the US to get things to me in a reasonable time, seems to be an extremely hard thing to do.
Ive only just received the bits I need to get my Victor jnr up and running !!!

Some very low 10's and higher than 145 would be nice.

How come no big cubes guys? Budget reasons? Or no extra hp? Did you guys have cogs or 12rib?

LOL comes down to dollars? big cubes=big money. if it were cheaper we'd all have 427's lol.

8 and 10 ribs are what I've personally seen used. haven't seen a cogged on a vortech setup yet.

The Aussies use a cog drive on their engines. I was going to, but I ended up getting pullies made for a custom 12-rib.

Bigger engines would be good....but smaller has some things going for it. Less torque low down for starters. If shooting for big hp, this can be a good thing, as its makes traction easier.
Bigger cubes mean more they are thirstier. I dont care how cheap your fuel is in the US, but for me, that was a big consideration.
And if you can make the similar power with a smaller engine, for less money, that will use less fuel....
Makes sense just to do it.
