Default new clutch or new hydrualics?

01 ss M6 with 56k miles. clutch has been acting up since i replaced clutch fluid. i did bleed the system a few times after i got this problem and no fix. when driving like a old man, clutch feels a lil notchy on the 1-2 shift but other than that all good. when gettin on it, 1-2 shift is normal but more notchy feel to it, 2-3 shift pedal starts getting soft, 3-4 pedal has nothing, cant get into 4th, clutch stuck to floor at 41 few weeks ago. reached down and pulled pedal back up and everything was fine till i made next pass and had same problem. should i go with a stock ls1 clutch or go ls7/ls2 flywheel?

you might still have air in the system. If its not air in the system replace the master. The OEM ones are cost $40 at napa.

To make sure you dont have air in the system, buy or borrow a mity, set the pressure to 12 and let it suck the bubbles out!

as far as the clutch it depends on your mods.

if your stock or just bolt on, yeah go with the ls7/ls2 setup. If your beyond that or plan on building more then yeah buy into a better clutch. It all depends on your application.

Also dont base your clutch perchase on what you read either. for ex: Many people hate spec, but many love them.

before doing that extra work, I would seriously use a mity vac on your hydraulics for bleeding.

I was able to get 104,xxx miles out of my stock ls6 clutch. My car is a full bolton makeing 360rwhp and has seen many track passes too.

The ls6 clutchs do hold up.
