Default FI and Heads

I have been searching the board and there is no set place to list the different heads used on Forced Induction setups and how they perform. So I thought about creating this thread and hopefully we can fill it with useful information for current and future FI seekers.

Please answer the following questions:

1. Engine cid and compression ratio?
2. Type of Heads?
3. Chamber size in cc?
4. Intake and exhaust valve size?
5. Intake Manifold and TB size?
6. Header size?
7. FI kit used?
8. How much boost are you running?
9. How much power are you making?
10. What tranny are you running?
11. What cam are you running?

Disclaimer:
This thread is not a scientific test... It is not intended to start a flame fest between anyone. Please list the results if u have them and that’s about it. Take the information for what its worth.

Can anyone post the reasoning they used to make these choices?

Why a carb manifold over an LS6? or why the LSX over the LS6?

Also- any big gain with going w/AFRs (205 or 225) vs. just stock 6.0 heads?

Thanks
Ben

I used the carb intake fow better flow in the upper RPM's and equal distrabution of fuel and air into each cylinder

90/90 over ls6 because it will give you more power/psi.

so just lessens restriction allowing more power at the same boost level.

People try to run bigger throttle bodies hence their move to 90mm FAST intakes and other intakes that can take a 90mm TB.

I elected to stay with a LS2 intake that uses an 90mm intake since some folks I know feel that most elbow setups have too many compromises in their design to warrant doing them... but I have by no means shown any evidence of that.

No problem.. put your race weight and ET with trapspeed instead. That would suffice.
