Having a loud/loopey cam...
I'm kinda curious, what kinda reactions do you get with your large cams in your cars? Especially when you're around alotta pedestrians. I'd suspect alotta people don't expect 4th gens to sound like old 60's musclecars

I was sitting at a stop light one time and the guy next to me rolled down his window to tell me I had a miss. I told him it was the cam and he said "no it sounds like a miss". I just laughed, shook my head, and lit em up... some people are so helpful... he helped me laugh...

My car at idle turns heads everywhere I go. Just this weekend I got it out to take the wife to dinner and dropped her off at the door. People waiting outside were staring/pointing as surrounding car alarms were going off. Soundclips in sig.
There are occasional "helpful" idiots though.....some monkey working at Autozone heard me pull up and told me it sounds like I've got my timing set waaaay too low. I just kinda laughed to myself until he said a new cap & rotor should help smooth that idle out. I couldn't help but laugh out loud hysterically.

Guys in "my generation" give an acknowledgement; thumbs up, big smile, a shout of "nice sound".
For those that don't understand what they are hearing and tell me I have an exhaust leak, timing problem or spark plug not firing, I tell them I also have a massive exhaust pump leak and then smoke the tires.... bahahahahhaha.

I get a the whole mix from the old lady frowning at me at the stop light, to the Dad with his 10 year checking the car out, to tenagers asking me to rev it. I haven't gotten anyone telling me it broken yet.

I have been told twice that something is wrong with my mufflers. lol Most of the time people just stare at me and their eyes get so BIG. I get told all the time that there is no way that's my car because I'm a girl, and I have people try to get me to pull over so they can talk to me. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I've even had people come in where I work, and ask who drives that bad *** car (the lady up front always knows which one they're talking about too), and they always think it has some monster setup, like a BBC, but it's just a little ole cam only 346. haha

yeah, a lot of people think it is broken when i'm out in my car.
Lot's of little kids on bikes alway's yell 'light em up' and then their parents yell at them. In highschool we had a parking attendant who walked around and made sure that all the car's had the appropriate tags in them. I was leaving one day and she came over and said 'I can always hear you start this thing from across the parking lot and it sounds like it's not going to make it out of here' I told her that 'that's the sound of something healthy, this thing just wants to go.' I roasted the tires the whole way up the street on the way out.
I noticed a lot of people just look like wtf, why is that car making that noise.

I used to get that in my 04 Sierra Crew Cab that was cammed. I had this one lil ole lady when I lived at the apartments and she would always walk her dogs and tell me that it sounded like I had an exhaust leak. lol.

You think they wouldn't expect it from a 4th gen? hah. People will stop everything, stare at me, and ask eachother what the **** is going on for minutes as I crawl by.
