While it was cool they shut down the streets for him, I thought it looked more like a Sunday drive. Kinda lame honestly. Obviously due to rain. Should have rescheduled and let him run on dry streets. Then it would have been cool.

You also have to keep in mind that this is on public streets where pedestrians are crossing. Did you see the person crossing the street seconds before the F1 car passed? If he were going all out, he would run into a high risk of hurting/killing someone.

Namely himself because of the wet pavement.

Kinda reminded me when Lou tried to take one of his C5 race cars down the dragstrip. No matter how he tried, he could not make the thing stick to the track. I forget what he ran, something like a mid-11 at 140+ mph, feather pedaling it the whole way trying to keep it stuck.

I must not get it then. The streets are closed, with police and emergency vehicles everywhere. It's raining. He's driving slow. So........ what?

If he were tearing it up at near full throttle, THEN it'd be a fun video.

The FIA has never prevented the teams for producing the most out of what restrictions they give them.

Yeah, but once the team comes up with a breakthrough idea that give them a bigger competitive edge theyre quick to change the rules. Renaults mass dampener for example. Also I think the engine freeze is a ******* joke.

either way there is nothing like hearing one of those engines echoing threw the streets to get the hairs on your arm to stand up!

Did anyone else notice the two guys blasting something at the back of the car right after the driver got out?
