Miracle Cure For Dirty Windows
A while back I posted a thread about window cleaning. I have ALWAYS had a hard time getting perfectly clean windows. I have used Windex, invisible glass, generic glass cleaner, industrial strength window cleaner, news papers, microfibers, terry cloths, and paper towels, all with no luck.
Today I used quick detailer and a clay bar, both mothers products, then buffed them with a terry cloth towel, and their 100% perfect, not one smudge or anything left on them ( actually only had time to do the rear hatch, but will do the rest tomorrow... )
Just thought I would put this out there for anyone else having problems keeping their windows clean.
PS, this also made the window a lot smoother, and seems to have reduced the amount of small 'scratches' in the glass that occur over the years.

I use a a solution of alot of soap mixed with water in a squirt bottle and then use #0000 steel wool. Just light hand pressure with a lot of the solution and the glass will be spotless. Of course, won`t work on tinted windows.

The trick I found that works, was told this in the short time I worked at a detail shop, was to first clean and dry the windows completely with a surgicle towel and whatever cleaner, I use invisible glass they used some generic glass cleaner, then take a microfiber towel and go over the windows really fast with a microfiber towel, applying some pressure, to get rid of streak marks. This is a pain in the *** on the windshield and hatch, but it works well for me.
