$85 for a one ince piece of rubber!!!!!
The little rubber grommet that houses my pcv valve is cracked. So naturally I went to the part store first and nobody carried them, they told me it was a dealer only part. But the dealer wants $85 for it, isn't that kinda outrageous?
Why does that little rubber piece have a ground wire??? The guy at advance thought I was crazy when I told him that. Couldn't I just find a generic rubber piece to fit in there and just forget about the ground wire???
By the way, I know the PCV systems are different on different years, mine is a 99 T/A.

Pull the tube up as much as you can with the cracked part up.Get some heat shrink tubing to fit the size of the cracked one.Shrink that tube onto the cracked one(being careful not to burn anything but the heat shrink). Cheap e/z fix.

The part number is 12590632 and will cost $52.74 from GM Parts Direct. I think your best bet is to search through the For Sale Section. You could probably pick one up there for almost nothing.
Also... How much would it be to go to a breather system and get rid of PCV?

Shallow Bay you're right... I just went and got the paper where I had him right down the part number and price 12590632 @ $84.52 + tax. But he told me that was just the rubber peice. I hate it because I'll be tight on money until the end of the month but hate to leave it unfixed till then. But it wouldn't hurt to do the shrink tubing until I did fix it, it would def be better than just a crack!
