measure compression ratio
i did heads and cam on the car and tuned it with an ls1 edit, my question is, does any one know how to measure the compression ratio of an ls1 and what tools do i need.

there are no commonly available tools to measure it basically. You just have to figure it out mathematically. You will need to know, displacement, head gasket thickness/bore, deck height, chamber size on heads, and piston dish/dome. So basically, you should post up your head gasket thickness/bore, and chamber size on the heads. I dont know what the normal deck height is, but i would guess 0 to 0.005 for a stock motor.
