Engine rebuild with FI in mind...what's needed?
I'm going to rebuild my engine this winter and i really can't decide whether i want to go with stock CI forged, or a 402. I'm thinking stock block now, but my question is besides forged pistons and rods, what else is needed in a forged FI setup normally?

Keep room to grow because boost is addictive! That could be the only mistake you might make. I dont know what emission laws you got round there but Id say bigger is better. Shoot, I'd got the F-1 instead of the D-1 looking back. Tooo late now. Im so far in the future right now that im still only pushing 8psi. I know I'll want more later, and I allready want the F-1 lol. Good luck with you choice. Botton line... do what makes you happy.

717 rwhp and 717 ft lbs of torque with the stock 346 crankshaft - On a Mustang Chassis Dyno to boot! This would be well over 800 hp at the engine! Bob
