Default edge or performabuilt converter?????

i want to put a converter in my 95 z with 3.23 and bolt ons. i'm looking at a 3000 stall from either edge or performabuilt. since they are 525 and 475 they are close in price. any suggestions or oppinions would be appreciated.
and please don't tell me to go yank or pi as i don't want to spend that much.

fuddle still hasnt been reinstated yet although they are getting there. i guess its gonna be Performabuilt vs. Fuddle for the affordable converter wars, maybe thats just what Fuddle needs to stay alive, a little competition to take away some of the overwhelming demand for the somewhat limited supply...

These are not cheap converters , trust me on that presEntly till we get some out there for people to experEince we are selling them at our cost by the time we pay shipping. You will be impressed! That I assure you of, These conveters will stand right there with edge, vig and yank.
Once several people do have them and once we get the reviews we are looking for they will not remain cheaply priced.
Basically this is a marketing move for us to get exposure and as side effect you get one helluva converter at one helluva deal and thats what this is all about.I said in the begining when we introduced these that the prices would not remain as they are and at some time I will be ask to raise the prices to a list I allready have been given , So I would take avantage while they are available at these prices.

I have a feeling performabuilt will take fuddle. I already bought my new yank if I would have known about performabuilt I would have bought one
Also I had a converter in my mustang made by West Coast Converters they are a sister company to Edge converters. Research West Coast and Edge and they have the same address I talked to them and for some reason its 2 company names in 1. It was a great converter out of the gate but it sucked on the top end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...i dont think i'll regret getting my yank converter though

Why? Because one or two people can get in touch with them now? If they were truely back stronger than ever, they'd be listed as a sponsor on this site, not a suspended one.

I currently am running a Fuddle 3600 and have never had a problem with it. However, I assure you it will take them awhile to gain my trust back. I was going to send back my TC and have it restalled, but am not confident I'd be getting back a quality product (hell I might not even get it back). Performabuilt, I am in no way trying to call you onto the carpet, but I think if I had the choice in spending $650 for a Yank 4000 or $525 for your 4000 I'd spend the extra $125 knowing I was getting a nationally tested/respected converter. I am in no way attempting to rip your prices or product, but like a lot of LS1tech-ers I am now leary of low budget converters. If your prices are indeed that low for a marketability I'll make a deal with you. I'll rip out my Fuddle put in your TC and become a spokesman for you if they're as good as you say. You can right it off as an adveritizing expense . Mike

I'm not sure who to even quote here but time will tell! I will say that I have customers running most of the above tc's and have the best success with the Vig.... . There are some other high $ tc's out there for the more serious racer's but in this buisness of tc's what you guy's have to understand is you are tuning your et's with tc performance. Some have better results than others but you also need to consider durability. Guy's it's trial and error that is why most tc companies give you a free restall. Good luck to all of you,Vince.

i think PSJ said Fuddle will be back once every issue with a member has been resolved, so even if they are in good standing now, it will be a while before you see their banner on the right....

Hope they speak up when they get them in and running. Vince, I do agree with your trial and error comment, but I've done a lot of reading on here over TC's and have seen a lot of guys improve their ET's and mph's after switching from a Fuddle to a Yank. What do you think? I mean Fuddle doesn't come on here and reaasure anyone so it's a good thing we got guys like you and performabuilt willing to take the time and help us folks out. Mike

so any opinions? i know a lot of guys on impalassforum running edge and are all happy. i figure if it works in a 4200 lb car it should work in a 3400 lb car.
also i see a lot of people saying they wish they would have gone with a bigger stall than they did. with a full bolt on car with 3.23's am i going to be happy with a 3000 stall? it is my daily driver 20 miles to work each way with 15 miles of freeway.
