03/04 Cobra or 01-04 z06 Just wondering which one you guys would buy if you had the choice? Try to be non biased too if you can
For those who haved owned both or have driven both, can you tell me the pros/cons of each one of them?
I have found 1 of each that i really like they are about the same cost and the same mileage.
How does each compare in a race both stock and common mods?

That is tough. If I was looking for drag racing I would have to go with the Cobra for the massive "bang for the buck". Just bolt ons make these cars real fast.
But IMO the Vette is a all around better car. Just sitting in a Vette makes me say WOW. For the street I have to go Vette.

Even though i think the Z06 is a much better all around car. I would go with the cobra because its crazy fast with just bolt ons, it has a supercharger whine, and it has a backseat.

Thats a really tough choice, I'm gonna have to say Vette tho, even tho Cobras are sick.

Wow I didn't see the ole Slowbra getting more votes on the LS1 forum!! It really depends what you're looking for. But here's a little breakdown for you..
Pro's:
Cobra: Cheaper, crazy fast for cheap bolt on's, strong motor/tranny/rearend, Blower whine is f'ing addictive!!!
Z06: Much more refined car, IRS is better than that of the Cobra, also responds well to mods, crazy fast with or without bolt on's, incredible handling, panty dropper.
Con's:
Cobra: HEAVY, interior is ok....feels like every other mustang just with nicer seats and better gauges, handling is decent but not great, shifting sucks unless you get an aftermarket shifter/clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster. Blower whine is addicting and makes you always want to spend more money to make it louder!!
Z06: More expensive for the car and all mods, ride is rather rough, feels like you're sitting on the ground, don't car for the pop up headlights (personal preference though)
The Z06 is a more rounded car, but it should be for the money. Both cars have their quirks that owners complain about, neither one more than the other really. I tried to trade mine in for an Blown 02 Z06 a few months back but it was sold right as I was pulling up the dealership. I loved driving that car!!! But I don't regret still having the Cobra at all, I'll probably have a Z one day....

I am heavily biased against Ford and I don't like the look of Mustangs. But, here are the facts: If you want to be fast for cheap get the Cobra. For "little" money you could be fast.
If you aren't on a budget get the Z06. More fun factor and it stands out more.
