two things i have questions about...
FIRST, i'm slowly getting together what i want to put in my motor. got a Yank SS4000 on the way to replace my broke TCI. going to order a t-rex cam, wondering about which AFR heads to get, i've been told to go with the 205's and thats what i was wondering about which heads to go with that cam, and what are the odds of having a PTV clearance issue with those heads and that cam? SECOND, obviously the t-rex cam is a mid to upper range cam and i was curious what can i do to safely rev the motor up around 7k? i just heard about comp cams rpm kit and what is that kit have in it that lets the motor rev higher? and just out of curiosity how high can a stock LS1 rev?

AFR 205s are fine. Make sure the springs will hold that cam. Not sure what AFR uses. PTV could be an issue if the heads are milled. Check it before you fire the motor. The rolled valve angle heads will give you a bit more clearance. (ETP TFS). IF it is a stock bottom end change the rod bolts to the Katech ones at least.
The bigger issue will be a 4000 stall is not enough for that cam. Trust me I know.It will be OK but marginal at best.

If you arent totally stuck on the AFRs, you might wanna check on the TSP PRC LS6 heads. I dont know if they will clear that big stick or not, but they seem like an excellent budget head.
