I while back I found a new ultra z hood on ebay for starting bid $500 and buy it now price $550 and everyday I would keep on eye on it because i thought nobody else knew about it and tried to save me some money so when the auction was about to be over the next day I had to go to work so I put my gf in charge while she was at school and couldnt believe when she told me she was oubid at the last second, I was so mad that I dint talk to her for 2 days. So the next day I had to buy the hood from thunderracing for $800 thats what I get for tryan to save $50 instead i had to spend $300 more

because of unloading issues (a body shop will have somebody there to unload it)... if u ever ship big packages you should have them shipped to a business to save yourself money.. thats what i usually do

Don't give up! I had been looking for an SLP SS hood since I bought my car almost 3 years ago now. There was no way i was paying 1000+ for it. I just happened to be on line last Sunday when a fellow member about 100 miles from me posted one for sale for 400! Within an hour the deal was done and I was driving to pick it up. Keep looking you'll find the Ultra Z hood eventually for a good price.

Agreed, i bought mine for $645.00 from www.afterthoughtsauto.com and they treated me great! They order from SLP and it was dropshipped from SLP. I wouldnt have any other besides SLP, as they dont line up right. I havent had any problems with the form of my hood and have a friend who didnt have any on his. Easy to line up only took about 15 min. The only pain i had with it was no hood shocks while the fiberglass settles (about a week).
Just watch them as they have shipping specials all the time!
