Kooks headers?
Do any of you guys have Kooks headers? I'm thinking of swapping out my Pacesetter LT's for some Kooks LT's, I need to know what you guys think of them and I would also like to see some pics cuz I don't know if they would clear my Procharger.

I just switched from Hookers to Kooks. I gained at least 1 inch of ground clearance over the Hookers. I had to remove the stock oil cooler, but no problems with the oil filter. I am very happy with the Kooks. For any of you thinking about going with Kooks, I have 2 of their 3" Y-pipes for sale and I can save you some money. One Y-pipe has cats and the other doesn't. FYI you can also get their Y-pipes with a 4" outlet--they don't advertise that on their website.
Funkybird, I'll try to get you some pictures. Just e-mail me at wdkdds@Comcast.net and put "Kooks pictures" in the subject line.
And to answer your question about the headers and the Procharger--no problem.

Just put some stepped on my 97 and everything on the drivers side was VERY close. I had to get rid of a few things like my low oil level sensor ( I run a canteen pan ). And the steering runs close also. Hopefully everything clears and doesn't hit. Also you'll need to run an AC PF454 oil filter it makes life a whole lot easier. The quality is amazing though.

So... you guys that like these headers so much, what major improvements do they have over say my pacesetters? Or other brands? Its understood that you like them, they look great, add power,... That sounds like a description of most headers... What sets them apart?

Best sound, fit, quality, pretty much all the single didget guys use them, well most.
More would use them if it was not for the cost, oh and they are stainless so they will not rust.
