Default TSP's PRC ls6 heads...results.

im not postin these to brag or to declare them the best heads on the planet but i was pretty impressed with the output and i know there wasnt any dyno tricks used to achieve said numbers....

both sessions were on the same dyno....Dynocom (dyno-jet type)

car- 2000 trans am ws.6 M6...stock rear and gears.

mods on the motor for first dyno session- stock bottom end, PRC heads, ls6 intake, ported stock throttle body, torquer V2 cam, MTI motorsports lid.

first dyno was back in late June...temp in the shop was about 88 degrees with relatively high humidity (90+%)...it put down 424.8rwhp and 400rwtq...a/f was hovering around 13.0 or so virtually untuned for this cam and heads.

mods on car now with most recent dyno pull...stock bottom end still, same heads, same cam, now has FAST 90 and NW 90 TB, SLP lid. nothing else was changed. temp was at a cool 58 degrees and no humidy. after some air fuel adjustments to get it around 12.8 it ended up at 451rwhp and 420rwtq.

so it appears i picked up about 25rwhp and 20rwtq with the FAST 90/90 set up. does this seem correct takin into consideration the weather etc etc??
again, im not postin this up to start a flame session or to get critized or for people to tell me that the dyno was fucked up. im just inquiring for some input on what i picked up from the intake combo.

BTW: Kudos to TSP for these heads ( thanks Jason)...regardless if the numbers are what they are, its a vast improovement over stock!!!

That's pretty damn impressive.

I actually lost a few RWHP and gained 8RWTQ but I have a much smaller cam than you. That is great that you got your moneys worth on that one.

Is your FAST ported? I just bought one and hope to get gains similar to you. Mine is apart so im going to attempt to port it myself...looks easy enough. Right now im at 432/396 and hoping for 450/410 after the FAST 90/90.

I'd like to see a car like this install a ported intake right after the dyno test on a uported intake.

I did that with my car earlier this week and it didnt pick up anything with a ported Fast 90. We did a back to back to back with the stock LS6, stock Fast 90 and ported Fast 90. Car went from 435rwhp 399rwtq with the stock LS6 to 456rwhp 409rwtq with both stock Fast 90 and ported Fast.

Car mods are:

TEA 1.5 LS6 heads
LG G5X3 114 cam
LG long tube headers
Powerbond U/D pulley
Stock modded Ti exhaust
Ported Fast 90 w/ NW 90 throttle body
