Hood pin PLacement
I have a 98-02 style VFN Ws6 pin on hood, i have the dzeus fastener kit form jegs, my problem is i cant figure out where to mount the tabs along the front of the car. there seems to be nowhere to mount them at, help guys, thanks

You'd probably have to bolt the tabs to the plastic support... Where the factory nose cover is riveted onto know, along the edge where the front of the hood meets the nose. There's rigid plastic underneath there.
Just make sure you get all the side ones bolted/welded to some metal for safety's sake.

thats nice, what does he use 1/2" tubing? i was tossing around the idea of getting some 1/2" hard brake line and welding the tabd to it and making some brackets to hold it to the fender bolts with, could this be done?

Why not just bolt the tabs in place with the fender bolts? Maybe Im missing something but welding them to a bar that bolts in place seems a bit overkill. Id just drill a hole and bolt em down, one at a time.

madmans are bad *** but this is what I did. I just bought some 1 1/2inch strips and a piece of c channel. Did some welding and and bolted them by the fender bolts. I was going to clean them up and have them powdercoated or something but I might just leave them alone.
