Default 65lb motron help!!!

Hey guys, I installed some 65lb motrons in my car because I'm installing the D1SC tomorrow...Anyways, do these need to be tuned to run right?? It's running like hell but I thought it was because it didn't have any fuel at first...Anybody that can help would be appreciated...

Your PCM still thinks the old injectors are in so it's not going to run right, I wouldn't run the motor at all. When you get the car tuned with your D1 the tuner will fix the injector problem.

Sorry dude. Are you going to tow your car to get it tuned when the D1's in? As a suggestion- I would.

I'm going to install it but not have it hooked up entirely until I get to the tuner's place...

You won't be able to run the 65 without a tune. Its dumping to too much fuel.

you should have done more research first, this is an obvious mistake that can damage your engine. you are spraying more than twice the fuel necessary into the engine, and the computer can only pull back 25% of that on its own

injectors are run by the computer.. change injectors = tune the computer, the bigger the change the more serious the symptoms will be.

the only other thing you could do is adjust the fuel pressure down significantly temporarily until the car is tuned, for this you would need an external adjustable regulator.

I already changed them back this morning... I didn't want to run them that way but I'm off to do the D1 install and then to tune....I'm not going to have the blower hooked up all of the way until the tune and that's when I'm throwing the 65lbers back in...Thanks for everyone's input..
