Default engine bay.... opinions wanted

i painted my engine bay black on my pewter ss. wondering what you guys think? dont mind the red bumper support, i was testing that duplicolor "anodized" paint. it'll be painted black as well

uhh, pics help

edit, looks good except for the bumper support. i wish i could do that to my car. do you have a clearcoat on everything under there

I think you made a great choice.
What you did would definitely bring out polished/chromed pieces.

thanks! i plan on having my water pump polished, throttle body polished, gettign fabbed aluminum valve covers polished. custom fuel system with all braided lines, polished cold side piping for my turbo setup

Looks alright, i think it looks better when it's the same as the car though. That's just me, seems like i'm the lone one that feels that way though!

i was going to do the manta but im putting my sunoco hood on next week. the ss hood is going up for sale. im going to get the sides of the cowl painted black to keep the pewter and black theme going.

yea paint that red peice black or pewter....and i agree alot of pple that are around cars alot are going to come up with the, sooo "you got this car crashed right?" question...lol so you're officially warned, but other than that looks good on a newer car like these or others i'd rather have everything same color-keeps the value on the car up for many reasons and overall it "looks" more complete to an average person looking at it. Black engine bay on a pewter car says its been tore down and put back together one too many times for some reason but in most of our cases that is a good thing lol

lol 2 engine swaps.... the cars ging to be very fast when its done so its all good. there were afew rust spots around the battery tray/ colant resevoir so i removed a few brackets, modified the core support to stand a radiator up vertical and painted the whole engine bay
