Default TPS mod? Just had a thought

I was just thinking, what would happen if you drilled the two holes bigger on the TPS and advanced the TPS up? Would the pcm think the throttle is open more than it really is and give it more timing off idle? The reason I thought of this is because on the 80s 5.0 stangs you could adjust the TPS so it would give it a tad more timing and fuel off idle. Didn't know if it would work the same way on these cars or not. Just a thought

Why?

Just tune the car on a dyno, or buy EFI Live/HP Tuners if you want to alter the timing.

Won't work. Once the tps voltage goes over .6v (IIRC) the pcm throws a code. It would have no effect on spark advance anyway, as that's controlled by a table in the pcm based on engine rpm vs manifold absolute pressure.
