Default Oil filter

Ok, so I went and got myself 7 qurts of the fabled 0W-30 German Castrol. The guy told me the K&N filter to use was like, 1007 I think, but that's the small one. What's the long one that I want to use? 2009 right? Also, is that definately the best filter to use? Thanks!

hp 2006, and only put 6 of those quarts in.

I don't know about it being the best filter, but I'd either run that or a Mobil 1, or Wix/Napa Gold.

Cool, 2006. And yeah, I just wanted to have an extra quart incase the T/A gets thirsty, lol. I thought it was 5.5 quarts though.
